About Us
At Brillantes we focus on removing barriers like language, cost, and transportation so that young Latinas can thrive in the sport they love. We don’t compete as a team, but we prepare Latina players to succeed with their school teams, local clubs, and college programs. What makes us unique is our commitment to supporting the whole player — from skill development to leadership training — while also providing scholarships and direct financial assistance to families in need.

KB Pallo
Co-Founder
KB is the Co-Founder of Brillantes and created the organization in December 2024. With a passion for youth development, a lifetime history of athletics in multiple sports, and a professional background in non-profit and business management. KB holds many roles at Brillantes such as Director, Coach, President, Fundraising Manager, Outreach Coordinator, etc.
KB played rec-level soccer throughout their childhood and went on to play varsity soccer all of their years of high school. With lack of family resources and community opportunities, KB was never able to play club soccer. Despite this, they developed a deep love and respect for the game.
As someone who has lived through various barriers in women’s soccer and imagines what their experience could have been with different support, they have a personal mission to support women and girls in soccer. Brillantes is the manifestation of taking action to create opportunities and command the respect Latina soccer players deserve.
Brenda Gonzalez
Co-Founder
Brenda’s love for soccer began at the age of 9, when she joined her first team. She was the only girl among all boys, but that was never a barrier—instead, it became her driving force. From the very beginning, she knew that this sport would be an essential part of her life.
During her childhood and youth, she played for Elm Grove Soccer Club, where she learned the value of teamwork, discipline, and passion for the game.
Brenda is proud to be the co-founder and a coach with Brillantes, where she works every day to create a space where players feel valued, motivated, and challenged. As a former player and a Latina woman in a still-evolving soccer landscape, she brings both expertise and representation—guiding young athletes in their technical development and personal growth, and being the support she once needed as a girl who felt alone on the field.

Rebeca Pallo
Director of Marketing and Storytelling
Rebeca joined Brillantes in the Spring of 2025 to oversee branding, storytelling, and digital strategy to amplify the mission and grow community engagement.
Rebeca is a former Division I college athlete from the University of Illinois at Chicago, whose soccer journey began with the Milwaukee Kickers. Rebeca experienced firsthand the value of accessible and affordable soccer programming in Milwaukee. That early access shaped her passion for the game and now fuels her mission to give back. Deeply committed to creating pathways for young Latinas in soccer, Rebeca is driven by the desire to challenge cultural norms that often discourage girls from pursuing the sport as seriously as their male counterparts. She is dedicated to bridging the gap between Latina players and high-level opportunities.
